Our story

Holiday home Sviba is located in Tuhovec, a village within Varaždinske Toplice Municipality, known for its thermal spas, the Terme medical center with an Olympic pool, baroque buildings and enchanting forests - a perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh air. 

The house was named after may tree (Cornus sanguinea), which grows in Europe. In our region, it grows in the form of a bush, in warm and sunny places. It is very decorative, with red branches, hard, flexible and tough. May blooms in May (that's where the name of May comes from) with lots of white flowers. The hosts did not choose this name for their house by chance. All the happy events in their lives happened at the time of the flowering of may tree, and the may of their story is a combination of the south and the north of Croatia.
